Rovian Indeed [ by Michael T] [News You Can Abuse]
March 12, 2010Karl Rove, the man who masterminded the disaster that was George W. Bush, keeps popping up on in the media. Do these outlets have any journalistic standards at all?
Rove is hardly the poster boy for success these days and certainly we’re happy to have him as a villain reminding the world of the evils that Republicans do - Liz Cheney is good at this too. But why is it media outlets put this goon on display and allow him to spew all kinds of vile? The latest is a doozy - he’s “proud” of waterboarding terror suspects. Yup, proud. I guess maybe because he does not consider it torture - something about it meeting international requirements, which is clear bunk. History shows that Japanese were prosecuted for using waterboarding and it is most certainly torture. We violated the Geneva Conventions and soiled the Constitution because of this guy’s policies and now the media feels it is instructive to let him rant. Sorry folks, this guy and his pals belong in prison, not on the talk show circuit.
