June 04, 2012If you don’t believe that money is nearly everything in politics - keep an eye on Wisconsin tomorrow. NBC is reporting that Walker and his backers are outspending the Barrett forces $30 million to $4 million. That likely puts a winnable race out of reach considering the depressed turnout of an off-cycle election. If this is a harbinger of the Fall, we may be in big trouble as Super PACs load up to take out American democracy once and for all.
